Mary realises her Mission in life and follows her Vocation

Mary realised in this moment that it was her mission in life to follow God. Mary chose her true vocation in life.

God has a plan and a purpose for each of our lives, and He desires to use us to do His will. If like Mary, we desire to please God and offer our lives to be His instruments, He will do wonderful works in and through us.

We need to trust God when He calls us to do something for Him, even if it seems strange or impossible. God can do the impossible. Let us be like Mary in our response to God the next time He asks us to do something for Him. We need to follow our true mission and vocation in life.

The Magnificat

My soul magnifies the Lord
And my spirit rejoices in God my Saviour;
Because He has regarded the lowliness of His handmaid;
For behold, henceforth all generations shall call me blessed;
Because He who is mighty has done great things for me,
and holy is His name;
And His mercy is from generation to generation
on those who fear Him.
He has shown might with His arm,
He has scattered the proud in the conceit of their heart.
He has put down the mighty from their thrones,
and has exalted the lowly.
He has filled the hungry with good things,
and the rich He has sent away empty.
He has given help to Israel, his servant, mindful of His mercy
Even as he spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to his posterity forever.
