Bank, Camera, Action Film Competition

Recently, a group of Year 9 students took part in the Bank of England’s Film Competition whereby they had to submit a short film based around the theme of ‘What Independence Means to Me’. Students worked in small groups to plan, deliver, film and then edit a dramatic scene based around the topic. After reviewing hundreds of entries from schools all over the UK, John Henry Newman Catholic College students were recognised by the film competition organisers for their creativity in response to the brief and were rewarded with a trophy. Well done to the students who took part, above is an image of the students along with their well deserved trophy.
