Year 10 had a successful maths day, showing the ways in which mathematics can be applied to real-world situations as well as preparing the students for examinations. Pupils made revision materials covering the topics they had learnt so far in Year 10, demonstrating their progress. Pupils also engaged in an exciting question run, competing against each other in teams. A bridge building challenge showed that we have future engineers amongst us, one of the bridges managing to hold an impressive 43 iPhones! The final task saw pupils researching and budgeting for a holiday, it is amazing what you can do with a budget of £2000.
