Here is the March schools update from Access Creative College Birmingham. Please can you circulate to all year 10/year 11 students.
Taster Days
Our next taster days are on the following dates:
Tuesday 19 March 6pm – 8pm
Saturday 18 May 10am – 2:30pm
Students can come in and experience what studying at Access Creative College is really like by attending a taster session in the subject they’re interested in. They’ll get to meet our tutors, try out our industry standard facilities and meet like minded young people who they could eventually be studying alongside.
Open days
Our next open days are on the following dates:
Saturday 20 April 11am – 2pm
Tuesday 25 June 6pm – 8pm
Campus Tours
For those students who can’t make our open day dates, or where a busy open day will be too overwhelming, we offer campus tours. This is simply a 1:1 tour of our campus with me. Interested students can visit with a parent/guardian or with a member of staff from school.

Spring and Summer term outreach offer
In addition to supporting your regular careers marketplace events, I can also be booked to deliver the following talks and workshops.
- Creative careers assembly
- An introduction to the creative industries workshop
- Freelancing and portfolio careers workshop
- Lunchtime careers drop in
- Game jam workshop
Campus Tours
Let me know if you’d like to bring a group of interested YR10 or YR11 students along for a tour of our campus or a class taster session. We can accommodate up to 25 students plus accompanying members of staff, so a large minibus full. Campus tours Include an Access Creative College courses talk and we’ll also try to include a performance by a student band or artist whenever possible.
