Our whole curriculum is supported by clear skills and knowledge progression. This ensures that skills and knowledge are built on year by year and sequenced appropriately to maximise learning for all students.  The design and technology curriculum allows our students to exercise their creativity and imagination through designing and making. Students are taught to combine their designing and making skills with knowledge and understanding in order to design and make a product. Ultimately we want them to develop the confidence to take risks that solve genuine problems and demonstrate their creativity and innovation.  In catering lessons students are learning vital life skills. We want to enable them to feed themselves and others affordably and nutritiously, now and later in life. It is important that they are able to follow recipes and learn how to cook.
